Attendance

Full payment is required for all scheduled classes, regardless of attendance.

Missed Classes: If a student misses a scheduled lesson, it will not be rescheduled due to timetable constraints. While teachers may try to offer an alternative time where possible, this is not guaranteed. Missed lessons are non-refundable and may not be made up.

Students (or parents/guardians) are requested to notify the office as early as possible if they are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, as a courtesy to the teacher.

If a teacher is unavailable, the school will notify students in advance where possible and arrange a qualified substitute teacher.

If a substitute is not available, a make-up lesson will be scheduled, or a refund will be issued.
Enrolment

All enrolments must be completed using the online registration form.

Starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, all enrolments will require a non-refundable deposit of €100.00 to secure the agreed lesson slot. This deposit will be requested once your lesson day, time, and type have been confirmed, and will be offset against your total tuition fees for the term.

Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
Payment

Invoices will be issued through My Music Staff.

All fees must be paid via Stripe or SumUp, regardless of the payment structure (e.g. full payment, instalments, or term-based plans).

Payment must be completed prior to the start of term to confirm enrolment. And all fees commerce date will be the week before your first lesson.

Students Grade 4 and above are strongly advised to enrol in 60-minute one-to-one lessons.
By enrolling and/or making any payment, you agree to abide by Newpark Academy of Music’s Policies & Procedures..
Cancellations

Newpark Academy of Music reserves the right to cancel any individual or group class due to insufficient enrolment.

In such cases, all applicable fees will be refunded in full.
Red Weather Alerts
-
In the event of a Red Weather Alert, the school will notify families by 9:00am via text or email regarding closures.
-
Missed lessons due to closures will be rescheduled by the teacher at the next available opportunity.
-
No refunds will be issued if the student is unable to attend the rescheduled make-up lesson.
Discontinuance
-
The Academy reserves the right to withdraw the enrolment of any student who:

Misses three consecutive lessons without notification

Shows a repeated pattern of absences

Is persistently late
-

Students wishing to discontinue lessons must give two weeks’ written notice.

All term fees must be paid in full, regardless of whether the student completes the term
Refund
-
Refunds are only issued in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Newpark Academy of Music.
Drop off and Collection of Students

Students should be dropped off and collected promptly before and after lessons.

Children should not be left unaccompanied outside of their lesson on or off the premises. .

All students under 18 should wait and be collected from the reception area for safety reasons.

Newpark Academy of Music is not responsible for students outside of their lesson time or off the premises.
Trial Lessons

Prospective students may book one trial lesson to get an introduction to the teacher, instrument, and lesson format.

Trial lessons must be booked in advance via enquiries@newparkmusic.ie or
by phone at +353 (0)1 288 3740. -
If you wish to continue after the trial, please discuss enrolment and fees with reception or contact the office.

In accordance with Child First Act 2015, the school conducts an annual review of its Child Safe guarding Statement and the associated Risk Assessment. This document is available below.
Observation or suggestions for improvement from students or parents/guardians in relation to the school’s safeguarding arrangements are welcome and should be communicated to the Director for consideration by the Board of Directors.
