Welcome to Newpark Academy of Music
I’m Hilda Chan, Executive Director of Newpark Academy of Music, and it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the start of an exciting new chapter in our journey of musical discovery and growth.

This year marks a significant milestone for us as we begin the 2025–2026 academic year in our new home at IADT. We are deeply thankful and honoured to begin this partnership, and we extend our sincere gratitude to President David Smith and all the staff at IADT for their support and warm welcome. We are truly looking forward to the collaborative journey ahead.
At Newpark, we remain dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community where creativity, learning, and a love for music can flourish. Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning, you’ll find a supportive environment that celebrates your individual talents and musical aspirations.

Alyssa Filardo is a pianist and teacher from Long Island, New York. She has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist in various in the USA and Europe. With over nine years of teaching experience, she is committed guiding students of all ages and skill levels to achieve musical goals.
