12. Strings - 8 Years and Under 

Competitors should present one piece of their own choice.

Performance time should not exceed 5 minutes.
Candidates must arrange their own accompanist, where applicable.

13. Strings - 10 Years and Under 

Competitors should present one piece of their own choice.

Performance time should not exceed 5 minutes.
Candidates must arrange their own accompanist, where applicable.

14. Strings - 12 Years and Under 

Competitors should present one piece of their own choice.

Performance time should not exceed 5 minutes.
Competitors must arrange their own accompanist, where applicable.​

15. Strings - 15 Years and Under 

Competitors should present one piece of their own choice.

Performance time should not exceed 6 minutes.
Competitors must arrange their own accompanist, where applicable.​

16. John Donald Cup - 16 Years and Over

Open to violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, and classical harp

Competitors should present one piece of their own choice.

Performance time should not exceed 8 minutes.
Competitors must arrange their own accompanist, where applicable.​​​​
