Voiceworks -  Five Essential Techniques for Singing

This hour long workshop will cover exercises for healthy and effective vocal warm up and voice production and will cover some of the essential techniques for singers including breathing, phonation, intonation, tonal development and interpretation. Aisling will demonstrate the techniques using a wide range of song repertoire from both Classical and Contemporary song genres. The workshop is suitable for young singers who are developing their technique as well as more experienced singers who would like to revisit their technical foundations.

Participation of attendees is encouraged and highly recommended though not essential.

Dublin-born soprano Dr. Aisling Lakes is a skilled vocal teacher and performer.
