A protégé of Barry Harris, Dan has lit up stages from North Sea Jazz Festival to Ronnie Scott’s & Duc des Lombard.
Guitarist Dan Nicholas honed his craft in New York City, spending his formative years studying with piano master Barry Harris while fully immersing himself in the city’s vibrant jazz scene. Grounded in the bebop tradition and shaped by the energy of New York’s clubs and jam sessions, Nicholas developed a deep respect for swing, melody, and the blues.
In the early 2000s, he relocated to Europe, where his reputation quickly grew.
